I remember a lot of the guys didn't go. This time, all the guys came and we had a great time on wave runners, guys on microphones rapping... I think it shows how close this team is. The last time, guys couldn't wait to leave.

I'm quite sure we'll have a little fun. We have a lot of guys on the team from this area. I'm sure they'll take us out and show us things around here. But when it's time to take care of business, we're going to take care of business.

They weren't the standard height for running backs.

It's going to be tough. I told our defense to hold it down for us.

It's going to be big. It's probably one of the biggest games in their history besides that Doug Flutie thing that I can recall. We're up for it.

A bright future for Florida State, I'll tell you that. It's our job as seniors to keep those guys composed and ready to play. I can't tell you how awesome that is. We haven't had freshmen like that in a long time come in and contribute right away.

We don't make kicks down here in Miami. I don't know what it is. Somebody put something on us.

When you are dealing with young men, period, you're going to make mistakes and you're going to have guys get injured. Our job as seniors and as coaches is to prepare the young guys that we have to step up. I think we have the athletes to get it done.

We know they are going to make mistakes. We have two more weeks to get it right.

We had high expectations after the spring. It's frustrating but things happen on and off the field to players we counted on. But in life, mistakes happen. The first game will show the character of this team. We'll see if we can fight through the adversity.
